If you were to ask the women of Kappa Alpha Theta what the word “sisterhood” means, you would likely get a different answer from each Theta. Sisterhood means loyal and unforgettable friendships. It means women who you can count on to support you through the best of moments and the worst. It means that you will find warmth, laughter and compassion from each sister who wears your letters.
To provide an enriching sorority experience, the Beta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta celebrates its sisterhood through a variety of activities. We enjoy two retreats each year, where we make cute crafts, play silly games, watch movies and giggle until we cry. Members also build strong bonds with each other through smaller, everyday sisterhood activities. You can always see Thetas eating lunch together, going on coffee dates, studying together, or having fun on one of our sports teams.
In Theta, our sisterhood is built through a shared passion to enjoy a full and rich experience at UBC, and have endless amounts of fun along the way.
